- Ballet and pointe: bun preferred.
- Other styles: ponytail, braids, or secure style that stays put.
- Small, secure hair accessories only.
- No necklaces, bracelets, or large earrings.
Every dancer should feel comfortable and supported. Choose the cut that fits your body and class style.
- Tops: leotards, tanks, fitted tees, or unitards.
- Bottoms: tights, leggings, or fitted shorts.
- Skirts: optional for ballet where allowed.
- Compression layers or binders should allow full breath and range of motion.
- If a skirt is not preferred, select leggings or fitted shorts that match the class color notes.
- Ballet: leather or canvas slippers with sewn elastics.
- Jazz: slip-on or lace-up jazz shoes in class color.
- Tap: teacher-approved style and color.
- Pointe: teacher fit and approval required.
- Hip hop: clean studio-only sneakers.
